After 6 frustrating weeks, I finally seem to be off the plateau - lost a pound last week and two at this morning's weigh in. Very relieved and really hoping the downward trend continues. I've been doing straight 5:2 since Feb. The only thing I changed ...

As a 'once a month' weigher, I was a little disappointed with the end of May and end of June results, but it now looks like I'm off the plateau and back on a downward journey  I haven't changed anything, just sticking to my Monday and Thursday 500 cals limit and eating normally the rest ...

Boy was I getting tired of losing and gaining the same two pounds or so for all that time! But perseverance works in the end, and I'm definitely heading slowly downwards again. I don't count, even on fast days, just aim to consume as little as possible in one evening snack-sized meal, well under 500...

Hi there I'm on week 6 (i think) of 5:2, lost 3.5lbs in the first 2 weeks, then nothing for the last 4 weeks.... I'm looking thinner, and my BF has come down 1% and lost a few inches. I've been looking at some people's progress trackers and it seems common to not lose between weeks 2-5ish for a whil...

Think of them instead as a 'temporary resting phase' preventing the embarrassment of our fat falling off all at once leaving us standing there naked and exposed, holding up sheets of loose skin like a wet blanket.
