So, since 8th April my weight has been pretty consistent, varying by about a pound each week, but overall remaining the same! This is a plateau of 7 weeks! Having only been on the diet for 15 weeks, it seems strange that I lost 11 lb in the first 8 weeks and this has stopped, despite fasting ...

What percent of your overall total weight loss goal do/did you lose when you hit your first plateau? If it's easier just list how much you lost before you hit the plateau and how much more weight you have to lose before you reach your goal. For me, I've stalled at 17lbs ...

I put on a pound today after staying the same on my last two weigh ins. I'm so disappointed. I'm a pound heavier than I was 3 weeks ago despite doing all my normal fast days (some liquid only). I haven't changed my eating habits on my other days, the odd blow-out sure, but mostly around my approxima...

hey All,
Yes! It is true. We do jump sometimes after a plateau for a few weeks. I was getting depressed but now I'm happy with it all. So don't feel bad, it will happen !

I have been on the diet nearly 8 weeks now; in that time I have lost about 5 lbs. In the past three weeks or so I have not lost anything -- but, one change I do notice is that I gain hardly any weight on the feast days, but lose hardly anything on the fast days. My feast days vary from overeating, t...

Weighed myself this morning, fully expecting to not have shifted an ounce, but was very pleasantly greeted with a 3lb loss! Amazing since I've eaten a lot of cake and biscuits on feed days, and nothing has shifted for weeks.
Hooray for 5:2!

... was easily maintainable. However, for the past 6 weeks I had been stuck and not lost anything. I know 6 months is a crucial point where you often plateau so I tried not to worry or give up. Last week I could only fast on one day due to other engagements and AT LAST I think the plateau has broken ...

I was starting to get really discouraged last week - I've been on 5:2 for six weeks, and after losing 2lb in the first two weeks, my weight loss just stalled. However, over the weeks, my appetite has really decreased - and on Friday, after several feed days in a row where I'd felt ridiculously uncom...

... lost 3 lbs week one, 1 lb week 2 and 1 lb week 3 but haven't lost anything since. I know you can go several weeks without losing when you hit a plateau but I think this is too early for that? I am strict with my 500 calories on fast days and don't eat anything except dinner. I don't count my ...
